LogMeIn Inc has launched the Xively Identity Manager, a system designed to capture information of end users of connected devices and handle the challenges of identity and access management (IAM) for Internet of Things (IoT) users and products.

The system provides a turnkey, white-label option for onboarding and managing new end users of IoT devices, which can be applied to web and mobile applications as well as a simple API. By creating a white-label identity, businesses can brand their own identity or embed identity in their own apps and web domains.

The product also integrates with Xively’s ‘Blueprint’ capability on security and authentication, providing companies with a seamless means of managing identities and access for employees, customers, apps, and connected products and data. It allows users to manage the full life cycle of creation, onboarding and decommissioning for both primary and secondary users, as well as build rich profile graphs to better map usage information and device data.
