HiPath Open Office ME is an entry-level unified communications system for businesses with 20 to 150 employees.

The system combines office resources such as email, voicemail, mobile phone, office phone, conferencing and fax into the one communications system with presence and messaging applications delivered via a single screen on the desktop.

It comes with a set of productivity, mobility and collaboration features all preconfigured on a hardware platform. The system can be integrated with existing IT environments thanks to its open standards design, minimising costs and the potential barriers to entry for businesses.

Utilising SIP, the system enables businesses to choose whether they want their voice and data traffic to move through wireline or wireless connection.
