Tech Educators Association conference
The Technology Educators Association conference is coming up and offers two days of blended online and in-person sessions. Participants will engage in opportunities to deepen professional knowledge via formative assessment and collaborative activities.
Day one is Friday, 20 August, with sessions being held in person at Rydges Hotel Parramatta (Sydney) from 8.30 am to 3 and also available via Zoom. Wide-ranging session topics include: NESA Curriculum updates; Cultural Awareness; Contemporary Nutrition; and Contemporary Designer case study.
Saturday, 21 August features three sessions, the first with a focus on improving HSC results across Design & Technology, Food Technology, Textiles & Design and Hospitality. This part of the program will be held in person at Maronite College of the Holy Family in Harris Park (Sydney) and is also available via Zoom.
Sessions two and three for the day incorporate workshops designed to develop and improve practice, including project development using technology and skills development.
