In which segment of the IT industry do men and women come almost equal in terms of employment and remuneration? According to the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), that segment is the privacy profession.

While remembering that the numbers quoted are only for the USA, it’s interesting to see how closely the two genders conform in most respects — although there’s still a big gap when it comes to salaries for those with 15 or more years of experience in the field.
