NSW Govt reveals exhibitors for CeBIT stand

The eight companies to be showcased on the NSW Government stand at CeBIT Australia 2018 have now been announced.

The government’s partnership with the Asia Pacific’s biggest business technology exhibition will put the spotlight on some of the state’s best technology talent.

“The NSW Government stand at CeBIT Australia will showcase some of our best companies including Design+Industry — the company that designed the cockpit of the famous Deepsea Challenger,” said Zoe de Saram, Department of Industry Deputy Secretary of Skills and Economic Development.

“The stand is also showcasing a company from Cardiff — Henchman Products — which has developed a new system for the aviation industry to monitor tool movements in airports to help meet aircraft safety regulations.”

CeBIT attracts over 15,000 visitors and more than 300 exhibiting companies as well as international delegations from around the globe.

“It will be a chance to market products and services to business and government and get new insights on artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity and e-government,” said de Saram.

The NSW Government-backed Jobs for NSW will also be at CeBIT to promote its grants, loans and loan guarantees for start-ups and SMEs and to feature some of the best start-ups it has helped launch into market.

A comprehensive conference program and keynote speakers will offer the latest thought leadership and trend insights on the technology sector.

NSW Government stand exhibitors will include:

  • Aervision Technologies of Wahroonga: Software and hardware engineers who develop products merging artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, computer vision and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.
  • Assignar Pty Ltd of North Sydney: Produces an enterprise software platform for construction and engineering companies, providing complete management of a mobile workforce to reduce delays, cost overruns and accidents.
  • Checkbox Technology of Sydney: Has developed a multiaward-winning technology platform that uses artificial intelligence and a ‘drag and drop’ interface for regulatory experts — like lawyers, accountants and analysts — to create online applications in the cloud without having to write technical code.
  • Covata of Sydney: Provider of cybersecurity software for the safe and efficient sharing of sensitive data and information across internal and external stakeholders, devices, networks and regions.
  • Data Republic of Sydney: Sydney based start-up has developed the data sharing ‘Senate Platform’ allowing organisations to collaborate with other companies on sensitive data and shared analytics projects in the cloud while protecting privacy and data security.
  • Design+Industry of Balmain: Technology engineering consultancy that provides industrial design for high-tech devices in medical, agriculture, industry and consumer industries. Designs have included the cockpit layout for Titanic director James Cameron’s Deepsea Challenger.
