ASG buys Group 10 Consulting
IT service management company ASG Group has acquired Canberra-based professional services company Group 10 Consulting for an undisclosed sum.
Group 10 is an ICT consultancy firm with a significant portfolio of public sector clients. The company was founded in 2013 and today employs more than 80 staff.
Co-founders Cosimo Garreffa and Jennifer Nelson will continue to lead the Group 10 team, which will continue to operate under its own brand.
ASG CEO Dean Langenbach said the acquisition will provide the company with additional capabilities, including the ability to provide clients with ICT asset management services.
“As we continue to grow our national footprint, we believe Group 10 will fit in perfectly with our own entrepreneurial spirit and culture and with our long-standing commitment to putting our clients front and centre of everything we do,” he said.
“The synergies between ASG and Group 10 will further enhance our product offering and the services our clients receive, whilst providing ASG with a strong base in Canberra, especially across the federal public service.”
The acquisition comes five months after the purchase of 1ICT, a specialist consultancy in Brisbane that was also founded in 2013. ASG is continuing to operate the 1ICT brand as well.
With the acquisitions, ASG Group now has more than 2000 staff in offices across eight cities in Australia and Asia.
