Australian cloud-based service and business solution provider BitCloud has attained VMware Enterprise Partner status.

“We are delighted to achieve VMWare Enterprise Partner status, a testament to the extensive experience which our engineers have with virtualisation techniques and their rigorous training in VMWare solutions,” said Bennett Oprysa, CEO, BitCloud. “The achievement of VMWare Enterprise Partner status enables us to bring our wealth of local cloud services experience, together with VMWare product expertise, to the Australian market.”

BitCloud hosts and manages thousands of virtual machines across three segregated zones, each featuring their own individual power, network and storage, providing redundancy for customers who want to place their servers in multiple zones. BitCloud also has completely separate data centres in Sydney and Melbourne, providing additional network redundancy and disaster recovery infrastructure.

“Our highly customisable platform combines a large public cloud offering with a number of custom-designed private clouds and high-security dedicated infrastructure. With virtualisation, we can provide optimised solutions for any physical servers which our customers wish to virtualise. At the same time, we can manage their existing virtual environments,” said Oprysa.

As a VMware Enterprise Partner, BitCloud gains entry to VMware’s opportunity registration program, sales leads and access to service IPs to support the company in building its VMware virtualisation business and strengthen customer loyalty.

“VMware is very pleased to welcome BitCloud to our partner program at the Enterprise level,” said John Donovan, Channel Director, VMware ANZ. “This achievement demonstrates BitCloud’s excellence and leadership in bringing their VMware skills and experience to the cloud market.”
