Citadel Edge and Cyber Automation announce strategic partnership

Australian companies Citadel Edge and Cyber Automation have announced a strategic partnership that they say is to help organisations across Australia and New Zealand strengthen cyber resilience in the face of Frontier AI-enabled attacks, ransomware, fast-moving vulnerabilities, supply-chain exposure and escalating data breach risk.

Citadel Edge brings expertise in AI, cybersecurity, governance, risk, assurance, strategic advisory and managed services, while Cyber Automation provides automated vulnerability discovery, remediation and compliance solutions. The partnership aims to combine visibility, prioritisation and automation with the operational capability required to implement remediation activities across infrastructure, platforms and applications. This helps organisations move beyond identifying cyber risks to reducing them through measurable action.

The announcement comes as cyber headlines are dominated by five board-level pressures: AI-enabled threats, ransomware, urgent patching, third-party compromise and identity fraud. For ICT operations and security teams already stretched by skills shortages and compliance expectations, the challenge is no longer just seeing the problem — it is rapidly prioritising the vulnerabilities that pose the greatest operational risk and remediating them before they impact mission or business outcomes.
