CREST offers new cybersecurity qualifications in Australia
Australasian businesses and individuals can access penetration testing, threat intelligence, cybersecurity and incident response and intrusion analysis qualifications, thanks to the establishment of Crest International’s new Australian Chapter.
The move comes as part of an initiative to improve the consistency of CREST’s accreditations and certifications worldwide.
CREST President Ian Glover said, “The Chapter aims to ensure buyers across the region can access the whole range of CREST services.
“It is important that all of its qualifications are available to anyone around the globe and best practice is well established. We will be working alongside government, the Commonwealth government, ACSC and not for profits.”
The organisation will begin holding exams next month and is also set to hold its first CRESTCon cyber and technical security event in Canberra next year. The event will feature presentations and networking opportunities.
