Interactive Intelligence absorbs reseller CallTime Solutions
Unified communications vendor Interactive Intelligence has acquired CallTime Solutions, an Australian reseller of the vendor’s software.
The deal, effective 1 July, saw Interactive Intelligence purchase the entirety of CallTime’s privately held stock in an all-cash transaction.
CallTime, which has offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, will operate as part of the Interactive Intelligence sales and services organisation in Australia and New Zealand.
The combined companies’ Australian headquarters will be located in Sydney. Interactive Intelligence will market its solutions in Australia and New Zealand directly and through its existing reseller channel.
“CallTime has been our largest revenue-producing reseller in Australia and New Zealand for the last three years,” said Interactive Intelligence Group founder and CEO Dr Donald E Brown.
Brown said the acquisition provides Interactive Intelligence with approximately 30 employees to help take advantage of customer opportunities in the region.
“It’s in line with our strategy of accelerating growth in targeted regions outside of North America, and also nicely augments the recent opening of our Sydney data centre, which supports our growing communications-as-a-service business,” he said.
