New additions to KPMG cyber team
KPMG Australia has appointed a new National Cyber Lead and three new partners in its growing cyber team.
Martijn Verbree takes the reins from Gordon Archibald and has overall responsibility for the firm’s cyber team, which provides specialist services to clients across a range of industries.
Verbree has recently returned to Australia from KMPG UK, where he led the cybersecurity team and focused on delivering cyber and risk transformations. He has over two decades of experience as a technology and cybersecurity leader.
Archibald is moving to the new role of Cyber Futures and Technology lead, where he will drive cyber strategy development, innovation and thought leadership. He will also focus on next-gen solutions and services.
KPMG has added three new partners to focus on cyber: Stuart Mort, previous CTO — Cyber & ICT Solutions for Optus Enterprise; Natasha Passley, former Executive Manager — Cyber Strategy, Architecture and Consulting and senior member of the Security Leadership team at IAG; and Gergana Winzer, most recently Industry Director Cyber Security — Asia Pacific at Unisys.
