Teleperformance opens first Australian site
Omnichannel customer experience management service provider Teleperformance has officially opened its first Australian site in Melbourne.
The French business process outsourcing company’s new Burwood office was formally launched on Thursday during a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Victorian Treasurer Tim Pallas.
Teleperformance began operations at the site in March, providing support for local and multinational employees, and has now recruited more than 300 help desk support staff. The company plans to double its employee base at the office next year.
“We are delighted to officially open the hub of our Australian operations here in Melbourne and particularly thrilled to be joined by Treasurer Pallas for this milestone event. We look forward to continuing to work with the Victorian Government as we progress expansion plans in 2017,” Teleperformance President for APAC David Rizzo said.
“I am proud of the great work and success thus far from the Australian team. I look forward to continuing our success in the region by growing our presence in Australia, welcoming new talented members and fostering long-term ties with the local community.”
Teleperformance operates more than 300 contact centres in 65 countries serving more than 160 markets, and manages programs in 75 languages and dialects for companies in a range of industries.
