vaxxvault to manage vaccination status for AFL
Medical technology company vaxxvault has secured a deal to provide the COVID-19 vaccination management platform for the all AFL players and employees.
Under the agreement, vaxxvault will provide a secure platform for evaluating vaccination compliance and rapid testing for more than 5000 AFL and AFLW players, umpires, and league and club staff.
Staff will be able to securely upload vaccination documentation and rapid antigen testing results into the encrypted cloud-based platform, which is designed to provide visibility into workforce status and can be set up to send testing alerts and vaccination reminders to users.
Testing and vaccination management information for all staff will be transferred to vaxxvault ahead of the commencement of the AFL men’s 2022 competition, according to vaxxvault Director and co-founder Gregory Johnson.
“For the AFL that manages a distributed network of club staff, players and contractors, vaxxvault provides a purpose-built platform designed to capture and analyse highly sensitive testing and vaccination data in a secure yet easily manageable way,” he said.
“vaxxvault provides the tools and capability to better manage travel, safety and compliance within the highly dynamic national and international pandemic environment.”
Johnson added that the company’s platform is designed to have medical-grade data encryption and to protect employee privacy with measures such as not relying on personally identifiable details to communicate through the app.
