Wild Tech aims to help enforce AI governance

Digital transformation consultancy Wild Tech has launched a new platform aimed at helping organisations reduce AI sprawl and improve user and data governance.

Agentic Governance in a Box is a Microsoft-aligned solution aimed at helping organisations avoid duplication, reduce data exposure risks, and drive responsible AI innovation by mitigating issues posed by the unregulated spread of Power Platform Apps.

The solution is designed for any organisation using Microsoft Copilot, PowerApps and Azure integration services, and is potentially eligible for Microsoft funding. It has been priced for mid-market accessibility.

The platform includes a governance-ready agent development and evaluation workflow, checks aimed at eliminating overlapping or redundant agents, as well as a central repository to ensure appropriate access. It can be used to deploy the Copilot Control System, a suite of integrated tools and controls developed by Microsoft for agent monitoring and security oversight.

Microsoft Enterprise Head Louwis Venter said the new offering can help organisations innovate efficiently and safely and address the risk of an explosion in unregulated use of AI apps.

“Think of it as building a healthy channel for AI ideas,” he said. “It helps someone avoid developing innovation that already exists and ensures that another person’s work isn’t accidentally exposing sensitive files to the whole company. It’s a necessary requirement in this era of innovation.”
