Wipro launches new automation lab in Melbourne
A new automation lab designed to facilitate discussion and demonstration around intelligent automation and provide a technology proof-of-concept workshop for customers launched in Melbourne on Thursday.
The lab, launched by Wipro, will bring together transformative enablers such as a digital workforce, connected-robotic process automation (RPA), cognitive automation and workflow and analytics, and provide opportunities for graduates and skilled talent in Australia to get certified in the latest automation technologies.
Wipro Senior Vice President and Business Head, Asia Pacific and Japan, Manoj Nagpaul, said: “The combination of RPA, cognitive automation and analytics is a game changer for data processing and for gaining real-time insights for [their] customers.”
The lab is sponsored by Blue Prism, which will use the lab to demonstrate its digital workforce’s capabilities to customers and prospects, and will provide direct access to Wipro and Blue Prism executives, product managers and leaders to boost collaboration and customer-lead innovation.
Blue Prism Vice President for ANZ Rob Mills said the Automation Lab will be “a great vehicle to facilitate collaboration and the sharing of best practices”, and help deliver a scalable digital workforce.
