HPE unveils integrated self-driving network solution
HPE has integrated its HPE Networking EdgeConnect unified Secure Networking Service Edge (SASE) solution with both HPE Mist and HPE Aruba Central. The integration brings together HPE’s SASE, wired access and wireless LAN solutions together under a unified agentic framework designed to make it easier for enterprises to manage their own networking environments.
Part of HPE’s self-driving network strategy, the integration aims to provide enhanced visibility and simplified agentic network and security operations capabilities across the network, from the edge to the cloud.
HPE Mist is an AI-native networking solution designed to provide improved visibility, automation and assurance into network conditions, while HPE Aruba Central is an AI-powered self-driving solution for campus and branch networks build on a microservices architecture.
Combining the solutions will provide a single operational experience that gives users greater visibility, automated protection, faster issue resolution, and a clear path to self-driving operations, according to HPE SVP and GM for SASE and security for networking David Hughes.
Customers will be able to take advantage of HPE Marvis, an AI engine and assistant, across the entire self-driving network. Functions include an agentic mesh for trusted automation, user experience twinning to help proactively find and fix problems, and a large experience model that predicts and prevents issues with applications such as Zoom and Teams.
