Macquarie Telecom and Netskope launch SASE offering
Networking services provider Macquarie Telecom has expanded its partnership with cloud security service provider Netskope to provide a unified, single-vendor Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solution to Australian organisations.
The companies originally partnered in 2025 with the integration of Netskope’s Security Service Edge platform into Macquarie Telecom’s SASE offering. This relationship has now been extended to incorporate Netskope’s software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN) capabilities. The companies say they are now able to provide a complete SASE framework tailored for mid-market and enterprise organisations operating in the Australian market.
The joint solution provides an adaptive security and networking architecture managed through a ‘single pane of glass’. The solution is powered by Netskope’s NewEdge infrastructure, which consists of more than 120 full-compute data centres worldwide. The companies say this will ensure Australian customers can take advantage of low-latency security services regardless of their location and movements.
In addition, the joint solution can help customers comply with Australian regulatory requirements such as the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act, and thread the needle between ambitious AI adoption and robust AI security guardrails, Macquarie Telecom Group Executive Marija Harris said.
“Our partnership with Netskope has validated our conviction that Australian organisations want and deserve enterprise-grade, unified security without the complexity. We’re now able to offer our customers one platform, one portal, and the confidence that their security policies follow them wherever they work,” she said. “With Netskope’s industry-leading security and networking capabilities combined with Macquarie Telecom’s own longstanding expertise in SD-WAN deployment, government-grade security and highly regarded customer service, we are uniquely positioned to help Australian organisations keep operations simple and manageable as they strengthen their cyber defences to adopt cloud and AI.”
