CrowdStrike, Dynatrace aim to disrupt SIEM sector

Cybersecurity company CrowdStrike has teamed up with observability platform provider Dynatrace to unify AI-native cybersecurity and observability capabilities.

The company has introduced three integrations connecting the CrowdStrike Falcon platform with Dynatrace’s AI observability platform and log management capabilities. With the integrations, the Falcon platform now enables federated search across Dynatrace observability and log telemetry, to give security teams application and infrastructure context without duplicating data or increasing integration costs.

In addition, Dynatrace has combined CrowdStrike endpoint security telemetry with log, application and infrastructure insights to help pinpoint the root causes of security incidents, understand the business impact and accelerate remediation efforts. The Bindplane by Dynatrace vendor‑agnostic telemetry pipeline management solution also now enables flexible log and telemetry routing between CrowdStrike and Dynatrace.

CrowdStrike Chief Business Officer Daniel Bernard said the integrations are aimed at disrupting the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) sector.

“The archaic SIEM platforms of yesteryear were built to collect data, not stop breaches,” he said. “They’ve turned security into a tax on data. CrowdStrike and Dynatrace are flipping that model on its head: we’re bringing together best-in-class AI-native cybersecurity and observability to help customers move faster, spend less, and own their enterprise data destinies.”

Dynatrace Chief Customer Officer Steve McMahon added that security and observability will need to work together as AI-driven enterprises evolve into more agentic operations.

“By bringing together Dynatrace’s logs and observability data with CrowdStrike’s industry-leading AI-powered cybersecurity, we’re giving customers the context they need to make faster decisions, automate with greater confidence, and accelerate progress toward autonomous operations,” he said.
