DigiCert launches Quantum Central tool

Trust and identity management company DigiCert has launched a self-service solution aimed at helping organisations prepare for the adoption of post-quantum cryptography (PQC).

DigiCert Quantum Central enables security and IT teams to discover cryptographic assets and identity systems that may be vulnerable to quantum threats, prioritise remediation efforts and ultimately develop a roadmap towards migration to PQC. The solution can be used to create change request and track progress towards PQC readiness. It is also integrated with Atlassian’s project management and task tracking software Jira for planning and tracking of PQC migration activities.

DigiCert Senior Director of Product Management Kevin Hilscher said the path to quantum readiness starts with visibility.

“Organisations know the risk, but most don’t know where their cryptography lives or how to begin migrating,” he said. “DigiCert Quantum Central helps them inventory their cryptographic assets, prioritise action, and confidently prepare for the transition to post-quantum cryptography.”

DigiCert Quantum Central is available within the AI-powered DigiCert ONE platform, which is designed to unify public key infrastructure, DNS and certificate lifecycle management into a single solution to help users secure infrastructure, software, devices and messages, as well as AI content, agents and models.

DigiCert also offers certificates for TLS/SSL, secure code signing and encryption, signing and phishing protection within email.
