Optus has announced it will offer two new BlackBerry smartphones - the Torch 9860 and Bold 9900.

The two devices feature a number of social networking apps, such as BlackBerry Messenger and integrated Facebook.

Both devices feature the BlackBerry 7 Operating System (OS), a 1.2 GHz processor, a Liquid Graphics interface and come loaded with BlackBerry Messenger 6 (BBM6). BBM6 supports BBM connected apps enabling users to interact with their friends from within the apps themselves.

Both devices can synchronise with PC or Mac and come with BlackBerry Protect, allowing users to lock, locate and wipe their device from wherever they are to ensure work and personal information is guarded.

The BlackBerry Torch 9860 has an ‘all touch’ design and the BlackBerry Bold 9900 has a 10.5 mm body and provides users with both keyboard and high-resolution touch screen.
