Oracle to add 1000 staff to APAC sales team

Oracle has launched a recruitment drive for 1000 new sales professionals across APAC to help drive growth for its cloud products across the region.

The company’s recruitment efforts will focus on Australia, Greater China, India, Korea and the ASEAN countries.

With the initiative, Oracle aims to capitalise on the APAC region’s strong economic growth and extensive broadband and mobile infrastructure.

Oracle’s cloud suite encompasses software as a service (SaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) and infrastructure as a service (IaaS) capabilities.

“Oracle offers the most complete cloud portfolio of any provider and is committed to customer success. We are completely focused on helping our customers transition to the cloud, enabling them to drive innovation and achieve their business goals,” Oracle Regional Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand Tim Ebbeck said.

“To help us with this effort, we are recruiting more brilliant people who want to sell the best technology and join Oracle, the Cloud Company.”
