Finastra, NTT Data form financial software partnership
Financial services software provider Finastra has expanded its partnership with Japan-based IT infrastructure and services company NTT Data to cover the delivery of managed services for financial institutions based on Finastra’s Lending Cloud Service.
The collaboration, which will focus on the Asia–Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Latin American markets, will see NTT Data lead application lifecycle management for the cloud solution. This will help enhance the platform’s scalability, standardisation and operational efficiency.
The jointly developed solution includes tools to measure, report on and fulfil service-level commitments. For NTT Data, the partnership will also represent a company to expand its product portfolio and enhance its market share in the financial services segment.
Finastra’s recent Financial Services State of the Nation survey estimates that 27% of financial institutions globally have deployed or augmented cloud solutions in the past year. In the Asia–Pacific region, the leading markets include Vietnam (56%), Hong Kong (46%) and Singapore (44%).
The collaboration is poised to reshape lending infrastructure across the target markets by delivering modern, compliant and scalable solutions, according to Finastra EVP for Lending Andrew Bateman.
“This is a natural evolution of our relationship with NTT DATA, a partner that deeply understands our technology landscape and shares our vision for delivering world-class, cloud-based lending services,” he said.
