NEXION to launch hybrid cloud solution with IBM in NZ
NEXION Group, an Australian-listed cloud, security, networking and data centre company, is set to launch hybrid cloud solutions with IBM in New Zealand from mid-July 2021.
This international rollout follows NEXION’s contract with IBM for Australia earlier this year in February. The former also recently signed a deal with Aryaka to build an SD-WAN network node in Auckland.
For this new market, NEXION will deploy a hybrid cloud solution which will offer combined enterprise solutions that will be aligned with current offerings in Australia including Hybrid Cloud, Enterprise Networks, Security, Global SDWN, IaaS, enterprise consulting and solution design.
IBM will provide Nexion’s New Zealand enterprise clients with flexible and global design and scalable hybrid cloud solutions along with artificial intelligence, automation and security services.
NEXION Group CEO and co-founder Paul Glass said the company was “excited to be expanding its commercial relationship with IBM so shortly after signing our multimillion-dollar contract with IBM in Western Australia in February. NEXION looks forward to extending the close partnership and solution offering into New Zealand and we are hopeful of further such partnership arrangements.”
He added, “This partnership continues to underpin our global growth strategy based on key partnerships, and to have a company of IBM’s calibre select NEXION as a Global Technology Services, GTS Tier 1 partner is testament to a strong alignment.”
