Adatree details CDR case studies in new report
Fintech and data intermediary Adatree has published a new case report detailing practical applications for cross-industry Consumer Data Right (CDR) data sharing.
The report provides 25 examples of practical CDR use cases that leverage Adatree’s Open X platform. Open X is designed to support economy-wide and cross-industry data sharing, and encapsulates various industries including open banking, open finance and open energy.
Use cases explored in the report include simplifying tax filings through a tax deduction tracking tool using open banking data provided through the CDR; a system for automatically updating insurance premiums based on lifestyle changes; and a way for small businesses to gauge the likelihood of timely payments from clients.
Adatree CEO Jull Berry said the CDR ecosystem is maturing. “Adatree was founded to enable companies to access economy-wide datasets. Now Australia’s regulators have matured from just offering banking datasets through open banking to other industries, including energy, telco, lending, superannuation, general insurance and payments,” she said.
“This use case report on Open X [serves] to showcase the power and possibilities of the Consumer Data Right in providing consumers and businesses with better solutions and experiences. Through the architecture of the Adatree platform, which is ready to access regulated data from any data source or industry, we’re excited for what is to come in Open X and how, as the only Open X provider in the world, we can enable companies to bring their use cases to life.”
