Frontier Software appoints new CTO
A new chief technology officer has just been appointed at Frontier Software.
Darren Hnatiw has been tasked with the global review of the company’s development practices, structure, methods and tools with a focus on efficiencies, system performance, product quality and time to market.
Based in Melbourne, Hnatiw will be responsible for establishing Frontier Software’s technical vision and for leadership of the technology group globally. He will set the strategic direction, ongoing development and growth trajectory of software development for the group.
Hnatiw’s background establishes him as an acknowledged technology leader — he has over 20 years’ experience spanning technology innovation, compliance, product development and strategy for multibillion-dollar corporations. Darren brings to Frontier Software a global perspective, combined with a passion for creating committed and empowered teams. Prior to joining Frontier Software, his last position was as director of engineering (Australia and Singapore) for Pearson.
“Darren’s appointment ensures that we have both the leadership and technical capacity to position ourselves for continued business growth through the ongoing development of market-leading HRIS software products,” said Nick Southcombe, CEO of Frontier Software Australia.
