Grill'd expands payments partnership with Adyen
Grill’d has expanded its relationship with payments platform provider Adyen to support the introduction of donations through Adyen Giving.
The expanded arrangement is supporting Grill’d’s Local Matters initiative across all payment channels.
Grill’d first contracted Adyen four years ago to consolidate its payments strategy, and the platform now processes all online transactions for the company across its table ordering, in-app and website orders.
Adyen is also helping Grill’d address its security and fraud prevention requirements through Adyen’s RevenueProtect technology. As part of the expanded agreement, Grill’d is now also leveraging Adyen’s international footprint to expand into new markets.
According to Grill’d Head of Digital and Technology Anna Pearce, the partnership has allowed the hamburger chain to implement a unified platform with enhanced customisation capabilities to cater to all payment methods. Customer data and insights collected from the platform are also helping the company improve its business strategy.
“We’ve seen authentication rates consistently above 94% month-on-month, the smooth transition to at-table ordering via QR code and ongoing use of that service, as well as data and insights across all transacting channels,” Pearce said.
“Ultimately, we want to make payments as seamless as possible for our Grill’d guests and Relish members to pay securely, and to have an option for everybody which Adyen has unlocked for us. From online delivery, pick-up to ordering-at-table within our 160 Restaurants, Adyen is a one-stop shop for all payment methods, which means we can offer our guests preferred payment methods, no matter how they’re ordering with us.”
