Symbos acquires CPM Australia
Australian customer experience and digital service provider Symbos has acquired contact centre operations and retail customer experience company CPM Australia.
The acquisition is aimed at enhancing Symbos’ capability by combining CPM’s contact centre experience with Symbos’ digital infrastructure and global delivery network, which covers Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, the Philippines and South Africa.
Post-acquisition, the expanded business will have more than 2000 employees and will have the ability to provide omnichannel customer experiences across the entire lifecycle, from sales and service to support and collections.
Symbos CEO Avik Choudhuri said the acquisition is aimed at accelerating the organisation’s vision of becoming an end-to-end customer experience disruptor.
“This acquisition is about capability. CPM brings deep expertise in contact-centre operations and a strong Australian-based management team,” he said. “Coupled with our digital infrastructure and AI-enabled service design, it positions Symbos to lead the next wave of customer experience delivery in Australia.
“We are an Australian owned and headquartered, digitally enabled end-to-end CX organisation that designs solutions tailored to each customer’s needs.”
Symbos says it has more than 30 years’ experience serving clients across multiple industries. The company has more than 250 clients across its five delivery locations.
