Compuware APM AJAX Edition 4 is a cross-browser diagnostics tool. The software helps developers test and diagnose performance issues across recent and legacy browser versions in Internet Explorer and Firefox.

The tool offers root-cause analysis of performance issues. It allows developers to pinpoint problems and make front-end web performance improvements on their website and AJAX web applications.

The software captures information within the browser to help analyse problems like long-running JavaScript code, excessive DOM calls, slow AJAX invocations or problems with rendering.

It includes support for Firefox 17 and 18. This allows users to profile, debug and trace across relevant versions of Firefox and Internet Explorer and to test browser performance where degradation is most likely to occur when running complex applications. It also supports legacy browser versions including Internet Explorer 6+ and Firefox 3.6+.
