Data#3 to build network for Queen's Wharf Brisbane

Data#3 has won the contract to build a digital network for the Queen’s Wharf Brisbane integrated resort development.

The $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will be developed by the Destination Brisbane Consortium, a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group and Hong Kong-based partners Chow Tai Fook Enterprises and Far East Consortium.

It will involve developing four new luxury hotels, more than 50 new bars and restaurants, the equivalent of 12 football fields of public space, a panoramic Sky Deck positioned more than 100 m above ground and up to 2000 residential apartments, among other development projects.

The consortium has engaged Data#3 to build a data network using equipment from Cisco and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. The company will provide consulting and technical services and work with partners on the delivery of the network.

Data#3 CEO and Managing Director Laurence Baynham welcomed the contract.

“Queen’s Wharf Brisbane is the most iconic project in Queensland and will transform the city of Brisbane. Data#3 is proud to combine the great skills of our people with world-class digital technology to provide the platform for future digital transformation initiatives,” he said.

“For Queen’s Wharf Brisbane customers, businesses and residents, a seamless digital experience is now a necessity.”
