ASD to hire two senior executives
The Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) is seeking two senior executives to head its signals intelligence and network operations and the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC).
The new Deputy Director-General Signals Intelligence and Network Operations (DDGSNO) will help collect, analyse and produce signals intelligence while managing ASD’s “network-based access and effects operations including offensive cyber”, according to the Directorate’s website.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Director-General and Head of the ACSC (HACSC) is expected to deliver “programs and capabilities that will proactively reduce cyber security risk for stakeholders across industry, academia and government”.
Successful candidates must show they can achieve organisational outcomes and “maintain productive relationships across the Australian Defence Force, National Intelligence Community, international and domestic partners, industry and business”, ASD said. They must also have successfully worked with government and be security cleared to “Top Secret Positive Vetting”, the Directorate added.
Applications are open until 11.30 pm (AEDT) on 30 January 2020 via the Directorate’s website.
