CSIRO launches latest Innovate to Grow program
The CSIRO has launched the latest round of the Innovate to Grow program, which aims to equip SMEs in the cybersecurity and digital technology sectors with the R&D know-how needed to grow their business.
The Innovate to Grow program links businesses to expert knowledge resources and mentors to help businesses validate and develop R&D ideas which have the potential to be commercialised into successful outcomes.
On completion of the program, eligible participants will also be entitled to apply to work with the CSIRO’s researchers and access dollar-matched R&D funding through the related Kickstart program.
Applications to the Innovate to Grow program are now open, and the program will commence on 12 October.
Dr Marthie Grobler, Principal Research Scientist from the CSIRO’s Data61, said eligible businesses should consider taking part to ensure they stay at the forefront of research in their sectors.
“SMEs are the lifeblood of Australia, and many have innovative business ideas and solutions that could help mitigate cybersecurity threats and deliver a positive impact to other Australian businesses and the economy,” she said.
“These businesses tend to face a myriad of challenges in bringing their ideas to life, namely investment of money, time and resources. This is where a program like Innovate to Grow, which is free to access, is so valuable for Australian businesses.”
