Intel announces two AI initiatives
Intel has announced two new AI initiatives under its AI PC Acceleration Program, including a program aimed directly at software developers and independent software vendors (ISVs).
The AI PC Developer Program is designed to enable a frictionless developer experience, providing access to tools, workflows, AI deployment frameworks and developer kits.
Resources include toolkits, documentation and training aimed at helping developers take full advantage of Intel Core Ultra processor technologies to maximise AI and machine learning application performance.
Meanwhile Intel has announced the addition of independent hardware vendors to the AI PC Acceleration Program to enable them to optimise and enable their hardware for Intel AI PCs.
Partners qualifying to join the program gain access to Intel’s Open Labs, where they receive technical and co-engineering support for the development phase of their hardware solutions.
Intel Senior Director of Client Hardware Ecosystem Matt King said the company has already onboarded over 150 independent hardware vendors to the program.
“We’re excited to scale our innovative hardware and software solutions to bring this momentum to our broad, open ecosystem of developers,” he said.
The program is also aimed at providing value to participating developers in the form of improved compatibility, performance optimisation and expanded market opportunities, King said.
