TeamViewer integrates further with Microsoft Intune
Digital workplace platform provider TeamViewer has collaborated with Microsoft to develop enhanced native integration between the TeamViewer Tensor enterprise connectivity platform and the Microsoft Intune unified endpoint management solution.
As part of the enhanced integration, IT teams will no longer need to switch tools to use both platforms.
Recently introduced functions include automated device synchronisation across platforms, unattended remote access for Windows, MacOS and Android, and extended TeamViewer remote connectivity for Intune-enrolled devices not running the Company Portal app.
The device synchronisation function is designed to provide users with near-real-time visibility across platforms, while support for Windows Local Administrator Password Solution enables TeamViewer to offer secure, on-demand retrieval of privileged credentials.
The function builds on Microsoft Entra ID and Intune security policies to enable conditional access enforcement, centralised auditability, and compliance-ready remote sessions within existing governance frameworks, according to TeamViewer EVP for Global Partner Ecosystem and Channels Alfredo Patron.
“Our new integration between TeamViewer Tensor and Microsoft Intune removes friction from everyday IT management, enhances enterprise-grade security, and enables faster, more efficient remote support at scale. It allows IT teams to focus on strategic priorities while keeping employees productive,” he said.
